This policy explains what data Packitta collects when you use the Packitta app, the supplier dashboard and the website packitta.com (together, “Packitta”), why we collect it, who can see it, how long we keep it and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Packitta is a business-to-business marketplace that connects buyers with suppliers, factories and distributors. You can reach us using the details in Contact us.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: your name, mobile number and, if you add it, your email address.
  • Business data: business name and details, addresses and locations you choose, and the staff accounts you add.
  • Verification documents: identity and business documents and photos we ask for to verify a business.
  • Activity on Packitta: products, orders, payments, invoices, ratings and reviews.
  • Messages in case of a dispute: we look at order chats only when needed to resolve a dispute or an order edit issue.
  • Device and technical data: a notification token if you allow notifications, your language, and basic technical information such as IP address and device type, used to run and secure the service.

Packitta does not collect or store bank card details.

3. How we use your data

  • To create your account, sign you in and keep it secure.
  • To verify businesses before they sell on Packitta.
  • To show products and suppliers and to manage orders, payments and deliveries.
  • To show indicators such as ratings and analytics based on activity on Packitta.
  • To send notifications about your orders, messages and account.
  • To answer support requests, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Who can see your data

  • Other users: a supplier's public profile, products and ratings are visible on the marketplace. The businesses in an order or a chat see the details needed for it.
  • Your team: staff in your business, according to the permissions you give them.
  • Packitta: authorised staff, to verify businesses, give support and keep the service secure.
  • Service providers that help us run Packitta, such as hosting, SMS, notification and map services, only for that purpose.
  • Authorities, when required by law.

5. Retention and deletion

  • We keep your data while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the service.
  • You can delete your account from the app or by contacting support. Your account is closed right away and you are signed out. See how to delete your account.
  • We keep only what we must keep by law or to settle disputes, such as order and invoice records.

6. Security

Data between the app, the website and our servers is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to it is limited to authorised staff. No system is completely secure, so please keep your phone and verification codes to yourself. Packitta will never ask for your password or verification code.

7. Your choices

  • Update your account and business details in the app or the dashboard.
  • Turn notifications off at any time from your device settings.
  • Contact support to ask for a copy, a correction or the deletion of your data.

8. Children

Packitta is a service for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
